The Dustin and Courtney Muse Memorial Fund has been established to honor their memory and is being managed and administered through The Community Foundation of Frederick County.

Established in 1986, this non-profit organization manages over 600 funds dedicated to providing financial support to the community. Funds are established by individuals, families, civic organizations, and businesses to benefit the charities of their choice, including scholarship programs, health care providers, human service agencies, educational institutions, arts organizations, houses of worship, recreational activities, and community projects.

The Dustin and Courtney Muse Memorial Fund will primarily provide scholarships to youth in the Frederick County area.

One scholarship will be awarded to graduating scholar/athletes at Governor Thomas Johnson High School demonstrating leadership qualities. A second scholarship will be given to students in Frederick County seeking assistance to cover costs related to private music lessons.
