The Dustin and Courtney Muse Memorial Fund was established with a local
foundation in Frederick to award scholarships and grants to
assist youth involved in athletics or performing arts programs. Such
programs, along with wonderful coaches and teachers, helped shape Dustin and
Courtney's talents and mold their character to become the incredible people
we miss and love.
Scholar-athlete scholarships are awarded each year to commemorate Dustin's
achievements in both academics and athletics. In Courtney's memory, music
scholarships are awarded to youth ages 5-18 who wish to take instrumental or
voice lessons. During the last 6 years, over $59,000 in scholarship monies
have been awarded to deserving youth. Also more than $26,000 in grant
monies have been awarded to many organizations that support athletics and
the performing arts. Future grant monies will continue to support similar
programs.
